In an earlier post, I wrote about a special stamp I carved for my sister, who is getting married very soon. I mentioned that I was going to prepare a box to house the stamp, and I thought I'd share the final project with those who are interested:

If you mean, "How did I actually make the box?" then the answer is this:
ReplyDeleteI bought an unfinished wooden box, then sanded, stained, and sealed it. I lined the inner compartments with dark green felt, and I stamped the image on the lid with forest green StazOn ink.
If you mean, "How did I overcome my tendencies toward procrastination and finish the project?" then that is harder to answer.
To complete the presentation, I taught Tony how to play the Wedding March on guitar so that I could have a little background music for the blog entry. He picked it up very quickly. ;-)

forgive me, but who is Tony? He plays beautifully...do you know him, like, for real?
ReplyDeleteNo, not for real, sadly. I just call him "Tony" because he goes by "Tony R. Clef," "troubleclef," and "The Name is Tony."
